There's an interview with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates in this past Sunday's New York Times Magazine. I haven't had a chance to read the whole interview, but I'm encouraged by a quote near the beginning:"Based on what I heard from every expert, then and now, I think there's a risk that an attack (on Iran) would strengthen (Iranian President) Ahmadinejad and solidify the Iranian's people's support for their regime."
Common sense? What? I'm confused.
ReplyDeleteI am sure it hasn't changed any conservative minds, they probably still think we would be greeted with open arms as the freedom loving patriots we are - just like in Iraq...
ReplyDeleteWords of wisdom spoken, but most likely not to be heeded.
ReplyDeleteWhat??!?! What???!!? Someone in the current occupant's administration is using their . . their . . mind!!! What's to become of us? Why does he hate freedom? 9-11!
ReplyDeleteIt reeks of reason.
