I'm sure if you polled me tomorrow, that list would change. It would probably include The The's "Love is Stronger Than Death," Bob Dylan's "Sara" and Rhett Miller's "Come Around."

Cool idea for a list. Just reading it made me think of what I wish I had written. I would have to do some serious whittling down to get it to ten!
ReplyDeleteMy list of ten would probably be a majority of songs from the Cowboy Junkies. "Cause Cheap is How I Feel" is a personal favorite. So is "The Anniversary Song," and "Murder in a Trailer Park." More recently, you could hear their version of "Sweet Jane" playing in the background of a CSI promo.
