Look Ma, No Word Verification!

At Coaster Punchman's suggestion, I've tried taking the word verification off of my comments. So far, so good-- no spam.

But just let me see one bit of spam, young man and I'll...

  4. Yahoo!

I always wondered if they track your intelligence by how many times you mess up the word verification (and I do mess up a lot!). Turns out I was right. If you mess up more than 10 times, you only have to put an X.

    (Not really.)

  5. Those spammers will find you quicker than an exfelon looking for a handout.

  6. I'm going to phone all my spammer friends and tell on you!

It is refreshing not dealing with that crazy font. Is that a u or a v or w or an n...?

  9. Lulu-
Okay, that's twice in a week, Miss-- a couple of days ago "You Spin Me Round" came up on my shuffle in the car.

    Chris-
I think that only bloggers who are logged in can post. That seems to have helped.

    Bubble-
I didn't catch the (not really) until the second time I read you post. Damn. Those friggin' letters are hard to read, with that weird font they use. Sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 tries.

    JR-
You mean those GED's they're required to get in Michigan aren't vaulting them into the job market? Go figure...

    Barbara-
    You evil woman.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has trouble with that damned font.

    Elk-
It's ten p.m, time for the penguin on top of your television to explode.

    Kristi-
From other bloggers' reports, and my own experience (almost two days), it's been okay.
