You Need To See These

There are a couple of outstanding posts you need to check out. They'll get you stoked up and in fighing mode.

Dr. Zaius has an outstanding post on the all-night debate on the Democrats' attempted amendment to the defense budget bill, HR 1585, and why it was more than just political theater. See how your Senators voted, and why it Senator Reid paradoxically had to vote against it to save it.

If Zaius' account of the Republicans' blocking of the attempt to bring some accountablity to the war doesn't outrage you enough, check out Dr. Monkerstein, who has a link to a clip by Max Blumenthal, who goes from Arlington National Cemetery, where many of the dead of this awful war are buried, across the street to a hotel where bunch of Chickenhawks College Republicans are having a convention. See it if only to actually hear money laundering felon guest speaker Tom Delay make the outrageous statement that if it were not for "the 40 million murdered babies" caused by abortion, we wouldn't need illegal immigrants. The statement is so wrong on so many levels. Oh, and Blumenthal reveals the distressingly high rate of health problems among College Republicans.

Man, I sure wish I could vote for both Zaius and Monkerstein for President...
