Peter Murphy was the singer for the great goth group Bauhaus in the eighties. Bubs had the great Bauhaus song "Terror Couple Kill Colonel" on his Random Ten yesterday, and it reminded me to post this beautiful, haunting video that came out in the early nineties.

Peter Murphy was in Ladyhawke?
I think I read somewhere that it's better to worship Peter Murphy than god, but I could be wrong.
I've had Peter Murphy on the brain lately. Don't get me or Lu started about "Stickman" as we like to call him. Dude likes a cane or staff or long supportive object a little too much. Anyhow, I've had his tune "The Light Pours Out of Me" playing nearly 24/7 on the stereo in my brain. It's usually followed in rotation by "Spoilt Victorian Child."They were both on a compilation album I have.
Damn, I wish you could edit your own comments. I forgot to mention that the song is a Magazine cover.
Laaa la la la la laaa laa la la la la laaa la la la la la.
Now it's in my head.
OH, our eldest is going to thank you for this. I always get Peter Murphy and Daniel Ash mixed up, but she reminded me that Peter is the one with the short choppy hair.
Whatever you do, DON"T go see him in concert. Dude has NOT aged well.
Lulu, my daughter saw them last year and said Peter Murphy has aged better than Daniel Ash.
AWESOME song. Awesome.
I used to see this video every time I turned on 180 Minutes on MTV.
This takes me straight back to high school. GAWD, I loved that song.
(I believe I owned the Daniel Ash solo album as well).
