My old friend
Tim tagged me and fellow dad
Bubs with a new meme-- the "Dad's Night" tag. The premise is that the wife is out that night and it's just you and the kids hanging out. What movies would you watch with them?

I'd let the kids pick the movies out, but I can probably guess which ones they'd pick. My son would choose either
The Blues Brothers or
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. My stepdaughter likes scary movies. She'd probably opt to rewatch her favorite,
The Sixth Sense. She might switch gears, though, and choose
Fiddler On the Roof, a movie I bought her a while back, but we haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

One other thing that my cheese-loving kids and I will actually probably watch this Friday is from the
History Channel. Their "Modern Marvels" series had a show about how cheese is made. You can buy these episodes for just a couple of bucks on Itunes.
I tag dads
Skyler's Dad and
Deadspot.

I'm tagged. I'll post.
Well, I sat down with my college-age kid and introduced her to Clerks this weekend. She was all the way through Clerks 2, to the scene with the donkey in the restaurant when she had to catch the train. I said, sorry baby, you gotta go, no cross species erotica for you tonight. She was watching the film out the door as she left. I think she'll be back to see the rest real soon.
It seems like just ten years ago she was watching Disney, LOL. Call me a bad dad.
