Oh great! Now I'll be going "ch-ch-chain" all night.
Actually that's not such a bad thing.
I love the scene in "The Commitments" where the girls are singing "Chain of Fools" oblivious to the fact that it's autobiographical-- the sax player is making a "chain of fools" of them.
Curtis is staying at the top of the pack isn't he? How long can he maintain this supremacy in the home of the yen?
Yay 21st Century Schizoid Man! I haven't heard that song in forever.
Loved that movie J.Yen. Nice list. Aretha, Elvis, The Ramones + + + the gang's all here!
Danny-
Mr. Mayfield does seem to be clawing his way to the top of my lists, doesn't he? I could do worse.
Mob-
A leftover from my late-seventies high school British Progressive Rock kick. One of the scariest album covers ever.
Dale-
Thanks!
I've got the movie on my Netflix queue. I own "End of the Century," another great documentary.
Tommy Ramone is doing folk/country music now, and played at the Old Town School of Folk Music, just a couple of blocks from my home recently.
