Some Days It's The Little Things That Get You Through...
Every morning, I"m aggravated by the wait to turn left at Irving Park Road onto California Avenue. Sometimes there's 4 or 5 cars ahead of me, and it takes ten minutes just to get a half mile from my home. The city is installing left turn signals there. Bless their little hearts.
Tomorrow is my last day before Spring Break. Oo-Rah!
It almost makes me ready to forgive them for ruining my tree. They came by today and shredded the stump.

i *heart* left turn signals!
but i hate the people that take a day and a half to respond to the green arrow!
SPRING BREAK!!! I"m so geeked! We should have a drink or something to celebrate!
Mmmm, yeah, I'll be working six days next week, just like every other week. Wah.
Spring break? What's that? Next you'll be telling me you have the summer off.
Enjoy spring break. Our girls' is just winding to a close.
Barista-
I know-- they drive me nuts! I usually lay on the horn for them.
Lu-
Yay, Spring break! Absolutely.
JR-
You act like you work in a prison or something...
Bubs-
Thanks!
What did they do to your tree? The bastards!
Spring break? Now I remember why people become teachers.
Barista Brat and Johnny Yen, it is the job of the first in line to pay fucking attention to the light so that the line may start right away.
I say that if they don't we have the right to ram them out into the Intersection!!
Barbara-
I blogged about it a week or so ago:

The stupid bastard city workers wrecked it fixing our water main.
Skyler's Dad-
Absolutely! And it's my job to lean on the horn to remind them.
The other fucking idiots are the ones who don't get into the intersection to await a left turn, therefore guaranteeing that you won't make it either.
You should have a funeral for your tree, or is that too sappy?
Ba-dum-bum.
Have a nice weekend.
Even out here in the sticks, traffic is getting much worse. Now it take about 25 minutes to get home (12 miles).
Five lights.
