Regarding the Cubs/White Sox Series This Weekend...

This isn't directed only at you, Elk...okay, well, mostly you.

And Adam asked me to mention that the Cubs are 36-39 with today's win, and the Sox are 29-43. And that the Cubs were 5-1 against the Sox in the two crosstown series.

Even though I haven't been following the Cubs much this season, this fact makes me happy.

You also negleged to mention that the cub haven't won a World Series Since Roosevelt (Theodore that is) was president...and they wont get anywhere close to the playoffs again this year. Still along ways to go yet this year.....

Welcome to Chicago - Home of more dog teams than the state of Alaska... BTW
Two Cub fans approached one
> another on Clark street,
> The first fan said, "Hey, that is a great looking bike, where did
> you get it?"
> The second replied, "I was walking along yesterday outside Wrigley Field when a
> beautiful woman rode up on this
> bike, threw the bike to the ground, tore off all her clothes and said
> 'Take what you want'".*
> The first fan nodded approvingly and said, "Good choice, the
> clothes probably would not have fit".

Chris-
Yeah, it's been a rough century or so, hasn't it?

Elk-
Unfortunately, I share your faith in the ability of the Cubs to tank.

That's a great joke! I'll tell it, but substitute Republicans for Cub fans.

The Cubs wouldn't be the same if they won world series. They wouldn't have the same place in our hearts. They'd be like... the Yankees. Who wants that?
